He graduated from the University of Nevada in 1985 and from Willamette University College of Law in 1988. After serving as a law clerk for the Second Judicial District he was admitted to practice in 1989. Following his service as law clerk he served as Deputy Legislative Counsel for the Nevada State Legislature working closely with many assemblymen and women as well as State Senators. Since 1993, Ryan T. Campbell has been in the private practice of law. Ryan T. Campbell practices primarily in the following areas of law:

-Contracts Ryan T. Campbell has been involved in providing free legal service to underprivileged people through the Washoe County Bar Association's "Lawyer in the Library" program as well as handling cases at no charge on a voluntary basis for Washoe Legal Services. He has also donated free legal service for several charitable organizations in rural Nevada. Ryan T. Campbell is a member of the Nevada State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has appeared in nearly every judicial district in the State of Nevada and has a good working knowledge of the various courts in the State of Nevada. Ryan T. Campbell is an avid upland game hunter and enjoys hiking with his dogs, golf, skiing and camping with his family.
